Description
As I mentioned in my last update here: AU King Thorin Blue Pencil Sketch, I'm working on a study for a future project my husband requested (an older King Thorin). After a break (my birthday was Halloween, so I had a few distractions before I settled back to art 
heh), I finally started blocking in more of the detail and getting the pencils started. This was originally sketched in blue pencil on 11x14 drawing paper, and these lines are lightly drawn in 2H pencil (I had to bring up contrast a little for enough to be seen). I intend to go over it more, in darker pencil leads.
I'm actually having a lot of fun with this one. Which is rather amusing, because it's supposed to be a study... and isn't what the final painting will look like. I'm not sure when I will get around to starting it though -- so I want to draw a nice image for my husband until then.
